I was there for a funeral.. But the history there is very interesting.

It looks like a good place for an informal wedding or family reunion, but the memorial erected by Sons of the Confederacy was disconcerting.

I have to give this 1 star even without visiting. Betty Alexander is given as a contact for this facility's website. I emailed Ms. Alexander about picnicking here and never received a response. Therefore, you lost a visitor due to rudeness.
